New Media Plan

Hi Hi, everyone!
Hope that you all have a nice day today!
I'm back and  this time going to write about New Media Plan.



As we know that everyone using Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Tripadvisor and a lot more application or websites, these all consists as new media, so hope that you get roughly about what is new media now.

Do you notice that, nowadays, every company no matter how small or big the company are, also having at least 1 new media to disseminate a message, promote or maybe interact with their target market?


This is because new media is the dominant method to present a company nowadays, it not only reach certain areas, it reach worldwide, thus, it easy to access and control, therefore company use it to maintain communication with its stakeholder.

So, how to plan a New Media Plan? I will use my assignment as examples in order to explain it more details.





As I'm doing new media plan for Sushi Zanmai which been assigned by my tutor.



1st:Define your target audience.

                
 The first thing we been looking at is the target audience of the company. We found out most of the customers of Sushi Zanmai are working adult, second will be fallen to a family. This could help to shape your mind about what new media you should use, how to use, what kind of content should be included in your new media platform in order to reach your target audience.and a lot more which let you more easy to prepare and link to the following steps.

2nd: Evaluate the existing new media


Is very important  to evaluate the existing new media that a company using, either it is sufficient or useless, could or couldn't reach your target audiences. In our assignment, Sushi Zanmai only has 2 new media which is Facebook and Official websites. It is actually categorized as lack of new media because Sushi Zanmai is a high reputation company which every customer will comment on it time to time. Just an assumption is impossible to use only 2 platforms to reach 2  million customers.

3rd: Enhance or create new media platform


While you evaluate the weakness of the existing new media have, for sure you have to solve it maybe enhance the old or create a new. We did both to Sushi Zanmai, as I mentioned the lack of new media platform, confirmed to have some new to cover this issue. Also, we found out the insufficient use and information not up-to-date problems happen in Sushi Zanmai new media, therefore we decided to enhance it, to maximize the effectiveness of existing new media.

4th: State the Objective(s)
For every plan, there must have an objective you must achieve after you do the new media plan in real life. Our objectives are to increase the sales (Objective 1) also to maintain the relationship of Sushi Zanmai internal and external stakeholder (Objective 2).

5th: Strategies and Tactics

Strategies and tactics are proposed to achieve the objectives. What and how should you do to achieve your objectives. To full-fill the objective 2, we do add on Instagram, twitter, intranet and a lot more. For Objective 1, we do online promotion, online contest and so on which can achieve it.

These are my own opinions to do new media plan in more convenience way, at least, it works for me. You might think that is easy to do. However, every step you decide must be very careful, you might think your idea is useful, but sometimes is not, and might bring crisis towards your business if you can't handle it well. So, don't simply propose anything in your new media plan, think carefully and more in-depth, you will get the meaning and might achieve what you want!

Handling Online Feedback, Reviews and Dissatisfaction

Have a nice day everyone.
Today is the day, going to talk about something relate to PR and New Media.
The topic of the day is how Starbucks handle those Negative online feedback, reviews and dissatisfaction and swing the negative towards positive.

The picture below shows that the special promotion of Starbucks during Ramadhan.





And there are someone who claims that she didn't get the promotion while buying the handcraft beverage. Thus,someone who do not know about the situation started judging on Starbucks. 

Na No : "Then what are the purpose of Starbucks Malaysia tumbler if we cannot utilize it? SAVE THE EARTH YET YOU'RE NOT FOLLOWING IT! Sad case..."

There are actually a lot of public will do the same thing like NA No, judge without clarify the incident, and might generate others too in criticism on the particular company.

Starbucks Malaysia : Hi Momo, We apologise that you were unable to get your cake at RM6. However, as stated in our terms and conditions, this promotion is not valid with other discounts or promotions. We would like to know our barista at Giant Kelana Jaya store mentioned this to you? Thanks, Momo.


Fortunately, Starbucks is doing well to handle this feedback. 



Starbucks didn't influence by others negative comment, in order to reply on those negative comment, it decides to only focus on the person who claims the problem exist. From that, they let public knows what actually happening and tell the person clearly about the terms and conditions again in very polite way, this is also to tell others who looking at this case. The case close down and be solve with the reason misunderstanding of the person towards the promotion.

Despite this, Starbucks held a feedback session frequently. They welcome every consumer to give any relevant comments towards Starbucks. Just like the picture below :





Sometimes, when a company held a feedback session, it might be insufficient. However, Starbucks handle well in every comment leave by public, they answer immediately, politely, and clarify every problem or misunderstanding from public without any hesitate.



Therefore, procedures and attitudes in handling online feedback, reviews and dissatisfaction of a company is very important and also a main focus to be concern nowadays especially for which company having any social media platform. To build a good reputation or maintain the image of the company, this is the must for a company to focus on.

“Tower of Saviors”- Spokesperson

Today I'm going to talk about Tower of Saviors (神魔之塔) spokespersons - Bigbang 



This is a very famous mobile game among the world, no matter youth or adult, both are addicting on this mobile game. The game have 6 different colours gems, in this game, we called it Runestone. 

Briefly explain about this mobile game to you who may not know the game. 




(You have to move 1 Runestones, and the move of the Runestones will affect others's position.)



(To align 3 or more of the same colour Runestones, the Runestones will be dissolved to give your Monster power to attack. )

The higher level you be, the more stage you going to face, the hardest to clear a stage. Also, most interesting part of the game is there are many characters, and you have to level-up the character in order to produce the best.

If you clearly know about the mobile game, let's  me tell you why Bigbang will be the spokesperson of Tower of Saviors. First of all, Bigbang consists has 5 members, each of them through many cruel audition, survival program and others difficulty before they become one of the famous group around the world.
(Originally there are 6 people in Bigbang during the survival program, but the end there are only 5 people debut which is T.O.P, G-Drangon, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri )


They all persist their way, never give up on their dream, therefore, they success.


Tower of Saviors and Bigbang are having the same elements, the mobile game required people who never give up on being beat by the enemy, and persist to clear every stage in order to get success to produce the best.

From this, i can say that, maybe Bigbang is not the best as the spokesperson of Tower of Saviors, but they are the most suitable person, because the idea being bring from Tower of Savior is exactly match with Bigbang's spirit.





(Every time, when they release new song, they try to make different, to present the newest of themselves to their supporter.)

Not only that, while Bigbang being famous in worldwide, they're still humble, still keep updating themselves, improves themselves in order to present the best to the person who love them. It is same with Tower of Saviors, which this mobile game always improve themselves, upgrade more and more characters or power and others ideas which to always present the best game to their supporter.

(It is only releases almost 1 to 2 years, Tower of Saviors has present 6.0 version.)


From my own opinion, is very clear that Bigbang is the most suitable person for Tower of Saviors, not only the reputation and supporter they having now, is about their spirit their characteristic.
